GillespieShields was founded in 1985 by attorney DeeAn Gillespie Strub. In the 33 years since, the firm has grown to six practice areas and two locations.

DeeAn Gillespie Strub

Nothing excites DeeAn more than helping people and families, especially those who unfairly find themselves in a challenging legal situation. Known for her compassion and determination, DeeAn cares deeply about her clients and has the courage and competence to help them.
Because a family law issue is so important and so personal, it should be handled by someone who cares. Mark believes that being down to earth and an honest, approachable guy is just as important in the practice of law as it is in life in general.
David L. Goldfarb
David believes his role as a legal counselor is to help people understand their legal rights and how the legal system works. A veteran litigator, David helps his clients through every step of the legal process, which can often be traumatic and complex.
Wayne H. Taylor

As he sees it, Wayne’s duty as an attorney is to use his legal knowledge to make life a little fairer for his clients.

Robert O. Newell
Robert believes in weighing every option and exploring every potential solution to his clients’ legal troubles. He does everything in his power to give them the best options to choose from, and advises his clients as they make the final decisions on how to proceed.
Amanda S. Chua
Amanda believes that the practice of law empowers her to help her clients exercise their rights which have been wronged by others, or defend their actions and achieve satisfactory resolution. Amanda fights hard to advocate for her clients but also dedicates her time to giving back to the community.
Misbah believes that immigration is the civil rights issue of her time. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve their dream of living and working in the United States, without fear. She believes that each case has the potential to change lives and she takes the time to understand her clients’ needs and stories to be their best advocate.
An experienced employment and labor lawyer, David believes an attorney’s best asset is his time. He therefore dedicates his time to meet directly with the firm’s clients, understand their unique circumstances, scrupulously research applicable laws and regulations, and present their cases in a streamlined, professional, and persuasive manner.
Prior to forming Reeves Maxwell, Kristina spent three years with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office in the Capital Litigation Section. In this position, Kristina handled all stages of capital appellate litigation, including direct appeals, post-conviction relief proceedings, and habeas petitions.
April Maxwell is a founding partner of Reeves Maxwell. April focuses her appellate practice on patent litigation, medical malpractice, and bankruptcy. Prior to forming Reeves Maxwell, April managed her own law practice, specializing in bankruptcies before deciding to focus on appeals.
