Queen Creek Olive Mill is a 100-acre farm with over 7000 olive trees that is family owned and run. They grow olives and press them to make extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality. On their informative Olive Oil 101 Tour, visitors can see firsthand how olives are pressed into fresh extra virgin olive oil. Guests can sample their way through our gourmet market and shop for extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars, olives, and other regional delicacies produced in the area.
The Queen Creek Olive Mill was named the 2019 Business of the Year by the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce. The Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce honors a long-serving chamber member with this award every year. The award was presented to Queen Creek Olive Mill on September 19 at the Encanterra Country Club’s 10th Annual Business Awards Dinner. The Business of the Year award is presented to a chamber member who excels in customer service, has experienced progressive sales and marketing development, offers creative products or services, supports the Queen Creek area business community economically, and volunteers in the community.
The Rea family plans to add olive groves, a bakery, a brewery, and a luxury bed and breakfast hotel to the mill’s already existing amenities. Olivespa, The Mill’s newest addition, offers all-natural, plant-based skin care products, soaps, and facial scrubs with the goal of creating home and body care products with ingredients that provide a safe, natural, and sustainable alternative for the community and its future. The company’s success can be attributed to their farm practices and products, which demonstrate their commitment to the environment and the wellbeing of their customers.
Their on-site Italian eatery creates nutritious and delicious cuisine with local and garden-sourced ingredients, demonstrating how extra virgin olive oil can be used. The shop sells local wine, bread, crackers, and snacks, as well as a variety of olive-based items (olive oil, of course, tapenade, stuffed olives, beauty products). The Kalamata sandwich is delicious and juicy, and highly recommended. If you like Brussel sprouts, you should certainly try them. They have a lovely lawn area with picnic tables, a bocce ball court, firepits, and an outdoor bar, all of which are nestled among olive trees.
