Century Library is one of Phoenix’s hidden gems. It’s tucked away in a residential neighborhood and doesn’t get as much attention as some of the other libraries in town, but it’s definitely worth a visit. The library was built in 1917 and has a really interesting history. It was actually closed for a while after the recession hit, but a group of volunteers came together to reopen it in 2013. If you’re looking for an old-school library with plenty of character, Century Library is definitely worth checking out.
