The Rose Garden at MCC is not your average flower garden. The church was planted in 1991 by Richard Romero and his wife, Minnie. They were joined soon after with two young daughters that helped them start this wonderful Christian fellowship where people can be saved from their sins while also enjoying life to its fullest! 

The Romeros’ story is one of the humble beginnings, in which they were launched out into the city by an influential leader. The church officially opened its doors to members on May 12th, 1991 with only two bedrooms–but it quickly grew from there! As more people joined this small group that put their faith into practice by being obedient disciples rather than proud preachers or professors who had everything going for them (story). Despite all odds stacked against them.

2. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints | 233 W 10th Ave, Mesa, AZ 85210, United States

The church of Jesus Christ is a worldwide faith with over 16 million members centered on the belief that everyone in this world can be saved from sins and death. It was founded by Joseph Smith Jr., who had visions about an angel telling him where to found his new religion!

3. First United Methodist Church of Mesa | 15 E 1st Ave, Mesa, AZ 85210, United States

The First United Methodist Church of Mesa was founded in 1894 and still stands as an example for other churches to follow. The oldest church campus in continuous operation, this historic downtown site has not only served God but also counts among its member’s people who have played important roles during construction on behalf of their community; including many leaders from within Mesa itself!

The First United Methodist Church of Mesa is called the mother church for East Valley Methodists because it helped form so many other churches in residential neighborhoods.
